Curly or Straight
If you are looking for straight hair that lasts longer than just until the next time you wash your hair why not try chemical straightening?
Chemical straightening or relaxing treatments work in the same way as a reverse perm.
It is designed to last for up to 60 days. However it would depend on the texture of the hair and the natural curl. Other factors that would affect the time it lasts is how quickly the hair grows. A consultation and patch test prior to treatment is required.
Whether it is a delicate wave or tight curls perms are very fashionable at the moment and if this is a look you want to be able to maintain at home with low maintenance a perm will help you keep up with this look.
After a perm your hair will settle and relax over about 24 hours and will need touching up approximately every 8 weeks depending on the weight of your hair and how quickly it grows.
A root perm is only applied to the roots of the hair to give extra lift and bounce to your style rather than leaving your hair flat to your head.
Root Perms are only available on shorter hair.
